I am absolutely delighted to be participating in the Cambridge Open Studios event again this year. This is an opportunity for people to come and not only see my work, but be able to chat to me about my techniques etc.
There are a number of people taking part in this event in my village and also in neighbouring ones, so this makes it a really good venue to visit. We will all be open from 11am - 6pm on our exhibiting weekends. In Hilton there is Kieron Dunk and Willie Wilson, exhibiting together, exhibiting their oil paintings, Nina Sage - a printmaker specialising in linocut and woodcut, and Pauline Lee and Randella Handley who both work in ceramics. In neighbouring villages we have Chris Lockwood in Fen Drayton, exhibiting watercolour and oil paintings and in Elsworth there is another printmaker, Sherry Rea, who does a number of techniques in this medium.

November 2014
Hilton Christmas Fayre
This is a lovely local event, which I do in conjunction with Nina Sage. It looks like it is becoming an annual event!
November 2014
Art at Michaelhouse, Cambridge
Three members of the Carnelian Group - Nina Sage, Sherry Rea and I got together to exhibit at Michaelhouse for two weeks. The Michaelhouse Centre is a beautiful old church in central Cambridge - so a wonderful location in which to exhibit our work.
July 2014
Cambridge Open Studios
This was the first year of exhibiting with the local open studios. I shared exhibition space with Nina Sage. We both love painting nature and so, although we use different mediums, our work complements each other.
November 2013
Hilton Christmas Fayre
This was our first time doing the local Christmas fayre. Selling mounted paintings, alongside cards and other items with my designs on.
July 2013
Carnelian Exhibition, Hilton Open Gardens
Nina Sage, Sherry Rea and I had a great time exhibiting in one of the open gardens in the village - owned by Angela Potter, a Chelsea medal winner who runs a successful garden design company called English Eden.
Our theme for this was, of course, flowers and complemented the event very well. Amanda Stuart, the fourth member of the Carnelians and a musician, played with her husband during the event - one of the pieces was specially composed for the event.
March 2013
Carnelian Exhibition, Elsworth
This was the first Carnelian exhibition, held at Sherry's house. It was a really great event - lovely location and Amanda Stuart did a live performance for both the preview night and on occasions during the exhibition.
